MINING ROADS -

  • Stabilised mining haul roadStabilig stabilisation produces very reliable Mine and Quarry haul and access roads
  • Access and haul roads stabilised with Stabilig are suitable for use by trucks with up to 400 tonne (plus) gross weight
  • Haul roads stabilised with Stabilig are dust free, hard wearing, and -
    • require watering only about once a day
    • rarely, if ever, require grading
    • maintain road profile continuously, allowing correct super elevation to be maintained
  • Haul roads stabilised with Stabilig require very little maintenance, which is a considerable cost saving
  • Depth of stabilisation for haul roads is often 100mm (4 inches) or less
  • Stabilisation of haul roads with Stabilig allows for increase in climb haul speeds, reduces braking slip, and reduces fuel costs
