Agricultural roads stabilised with Stabilig are low cost, long life, dust free and hard wearing roads, resistant to frost heave.

BUILDING FLOORS

Stabilig is used to build floors that -

• are as hard as concrete, yet more resilient and flexible than concrete or normal cement stabilisation

• cost around 10% to 30% the price of concrete, and much less than bitumen or asphalt

• will support very heavy loads of plant and vehicles, up to 400 tonnes plus

• last the life of your shed

• are easy to sweep clean and disinfect

• are highly resistant to cracking, even when mixed with and/or laid on top of poor support sub-soil material

• can be made from local clay gravel, sand/gravel/silt, sand/silt, or sand/clay

• are low maintenance, easy and low cost to repair

• are stabilised with simple "do it yourself" procedures with basic plant that may be readily hired or operated by local contractors

Stabilig is environmentally acceptable and is used in National Parks.

Stabilig stabilisation is suitable for new or existing sheds/buildings.

Stabilig has been used to stabilise many hundreds of kilometres of roads throughout Australia.

POULTRY SHED FLOORS 

• Poultry shed floors are low cost and constructed similarly to building and shed floors.

• The product grade of Stabilig used in poultry shed floors is developed to ensure a sterilised floor that is effectively impervious.

• Stabilig stabilised floors should be laid with a cross or longitudinal fall, depending on plant and operational requirements.  The floor tilt will provide drainage for water spillage etc.

• Poultry shed floors stabilised with Stabilig are temperature and frost heave resistant, and very resistant to cracking.

• Floors stabilised with Stabilig are suitable for heating coils and heating elements to be embedded in cold climates.

• Most floors have a stabilisation depth of 100mm (4 inches).

• Poultry shed floors stabilised with Stabilig are suitable for use by heavy mobile machines and plant for clean-outs and wash-downs.     

• Poultry shed floors stabilised with Stabilig have been in use in Australia for more than ten years.  Most floors have not required any repairs in this time.

• Some poultry sheds with stabilised floors have carried 40 to 60 batches of broilers, or more.

• Floors stabilised with Stabilig are low cost, long life, and very low maintenance.
